Léo Devienne is a filmmaker with a passion for dreamlike cinema, generally dealing with themes that question identity and primitive instinct. He directed his first film Projection in 2013.
In 2015, he co-directed his second film with Béatrice Pradal, a medium-length Sci-Fi film entitled Abraxas. In 2016, Abraxas was awarded at the Houston World-Festival, as well as at the 12 mfff as best editing. In 2017, Leo edited a short version of this film leading to its selection at Paris Courts Devant 2017.
In 2018, he finished his last short film entitled Like a LIKE, shot in Montreal and post-produced in France. The film was selected by the Fantasia festival in Montreal for its international premiere. Like a LIKE also won the award for best editing at the festival “Sur les pas de mon oncle” in Saint-Maur-Des-Fossées.
Léo est actuellement en écriture sur un projet de court-métrage, ainsi qu’un long-métrage.
