Louise Dubois was born in Paris in 1987. Her two loves have always been cinemaand lite.rature. After two years of literary preparatory classes, and a bachelor’s degree in filmmaking inLondon,itwas only natural that she should turn to screenwriting. She completed her training with a master’s degree in writingat INSAS inBrussels.
For 5 years, she was part of a collective of writers in Belgium, Screenpower, with whom she participated in the writing of several projects with international aspirations.
She was awarded the Prix Beaumarchais SACD-Label Maison du film court and the Résidence du Moulin d’Andé pour Becs & Ongles, the Grand Prix du Court Short Edition for her short story Dans le noir. Finally, Jay parmi les hommes was nominated for the Magritte for best short film.
Since 2019, she divides her time between her collaboration with her co-author Sylvie Lehmann, co-writes withdirectors (Denis Do, Nathalie Rozanes, Zeno Graton…),directors (Denis Do, Nathalie Rozanes, Zeno Gratonwritingseries (Kassa le Messager season 2 TV5 Monde, Adèle RTL-TVI…),adaptations (Amours au temps du communisme, L’œil de la Lune, La Formule de dieu Belga Studios) and personal projects.
